Marissa A. Gonzales is an Austin, Texas attorney and partner at Gonzales & Gonzales. She currently practices personal injury law with a primary focus on helping clients who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents. Prior to joining Gonzales & Gonzales, she developed multi-faceted expertise in Environmental Law and Intellectual Property while serving as an attorney for Fulbright & Jaworski. 

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Marissa received her B.B.A. with honors in 1992. During her attendance at the university, she competed in Track and Field as a Lady Longhorn. She also competed at the international level and aspired to compete in the Olympic Games on the Italian Olympic Team.

Marissa earned her Juris Doctorate in 1995 from Emory University School of Law and is admitted to practice law in both Texas and the District of Columbia. Marissa has worked on national litigation proceedings pertaining to the defense of the Alka-Seltzer Plus line of products for Bayer Corporation. She also worked on state and regulatory matters, federal trademark matters, and medical malpractice cases. In addition she has worked on cases involving children, pedestrians, and injuries to elite athletes.
